ST has brought out two new families of low voltage single,
dual and quad op-amps, the TSV911/2/4 and
TSV991/2/4. Rail-to-rail in both input and output,
and offering up to 20MHz of bandwidth, these multi-segment
products provide an excellent speed/consumption ratio. Their
supply range extends from 2.5V up to 5.5V. Rail-to-rail
configurations both at input and output provide an improved
dynamic range in low voltage applications.
The new TSV91x and TSV99x families feature CMOS
inputs with a bias current of only 1pA (typical value, 10pA maximum),
making them ideal for high impedance sensor signal conditioning.
The high merit factor of these op-amps allows for relatively low
consumption while providing a high gain bandwidth product at 2.5V.
These two families have exceptional tolerance to ESD, sustaining
5kV in human body model. Their low consumption and their ability
to deliver signals very close to the rails (15mV typ) make them
very useful in low voltage and portable applications. Their stable
DC performances on a wide range of temperatures (-40°C to
+ 125°C) associated with their low input bias current will
perfectly fit to sensor signal conditioning in industrial and
automotive applications.
A slew rate of 10V/µs for TSV99x is also highly appreciated
in current control loop where signals variations can be fast.
They are housed in the SOT23-5 or SO-8 packages (for the single
versions), MiniSO-8 and SO-8 (for dual versions) and TSSOP14,
SO-14 packages (for quad versions).
