STMicroelectronics would like to bring to the attention of its associates and other stakeholders the following important information.
For some time, criminal organizations have been sending spam messages, in a practice known as the “Nigerian Sting”, aimed at stealing money from their victims by using the name of renowned international companies. STMicroelectronics is one of the companies whose name is being used to attract victims’ attention.
The fraudulent mails have different subjects: they might involve job offers or winning prizes, and appear to be signed in the name of our CEO, Carlo Bozotti, and/or STMicroelectronics’ Corporate Vice Presidents.
If you receive a suspicious message in the name of STMicroelectronics informing you that you have won jobs or prizes, please forward it to:
corporate.security@st.com
We are doing our best to stop fraudsters abusing your confidence and harming our image. We thank you for your collaboration.
